About the Race
Regarded as the "Intelligent Garden City," Putrajaya will play host to the inaugural event on July 26, 2009. Ironman 70.3 Putrajaya will lead athletes on a scenic course in and around the new capital city, one that sits among lush landscaping. With a one-loop lake swim, a flat bike course and a picturesque run, participants will experience many of the area's historical attractions.Kuala Lumpur is close by, so there will be lots of attractions for both athletes and their families.

Swim
A triangular loop in Putrajaya Lake covering 1.9 km
Bike
From Putrajaya (on the banks of the lake) headed towards PCC, the swing bridge in Putrajaya including many attractive places. Total distance covered in this bike segment is 90.1km. (TO BE CONFIRMED)
Run
Four loops round the Putrajaya and finishing at the main entrance of the Putrajaya Square making up a distance of 21km.

Tertanya-tanya pula event ni terbuka ke untuk semua orang atau hanya untuk pro sahaja.Boringlah kalau tak boleh nak join !!! Gatal badan kalau datang tengok je.

I think it will open to all just like aviva 70.3 Singapore. But sadly our goby never tske tri sport seriously... Look at Phillipines, already announced and being called cobra 70.3 no kat mal spa pun takada and logo also. Still no confirm official partner. Sigh
lets hope it will open to public. Harap-haraplah sangat.
sigh... ¿¿¿ Patut ni jadi acara kedua terbesar selepas Langkawi Ironman. Takut last minit tak jadi lak nanti bukan boleh percaya sangat. Event kat Putra Jaya selalu je yang kena cancel.
